System Operation

The rear washer system consists of the following components:
^ A washer solvent container which is shared with the front wiper system
^ A washer pump which is attached to the washer solvent container
^ The washer nozzle hoses
^ The washer nozzle
^ The wiper/washer switch

The washer solvent container is mounted on the left fender behind the left headlamp. The rear washer is actuated through the rear wiper/washer switch (2,3) located on the instrument panel, to the left of the steering column.
The rear washer will operate as long as the washer switch is depressed. When the washer switch is depressed the rear wiper will operate regardless of the wiper switch position.
