Hydraulic Hose Replacement (Pipe Replacement)
Removal Procedure
1. Remove the reservoir (2) cap.
2. Remove the dust and the dirt from the pipes (1).
3. Drain the fluid.
4. Loosen the nut (3).
5. Remove the E-clip (4) from the pipe (1).
6. Remove the flare nuts from the hose (2) and pipe (1) with 2 wrenches (3,4).
7. Remove the hydraulic pipe (1).
8. Inspect the the pipes for dents, kinks, cracks, dirt and dust.
9. Replace if necessary.
Installation Procedure
1. Install the hydraulic pipe (1).
Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.
2. Install the flare nuts with 2 wrenches (3,4).
^ Tighten the flare nuts to 16 Nm (12 ft. lbs.).
3. Install the E-clip (4) that joins the hoses (2) and the pipes (1).
4. Fill the reservoir to the MAX level.
5. Bleed the system. Refer to Hydraulic Clutch Bleeding
