Rear Upper

REMOVAL PROCEDURE





1. Raise and support the vehicle.
2. If the vehicle is equipped with ABS, disconnect the wheel speed sensor clamp (2) from the left upper control arm (1).
3. Remove the upper control arm.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE





1. Install the upper control arm (2) to the chassis frame and to the axle housing. Do NOT tighten the nuts.
2. For vehicles equipped with ABS, verify that the front of the upper control arm is installed toward the front of the vehicle.
3. For vehicles equipped with ABS, connect the wheel speed sensor harness clamp (1) to the upper control arm (2).

NOTICE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

4. Lower the vehicle and, with the weight of the vehicle on the tires and wheels, tighten the front bolts and nuts and the rear bolts and nuts.
- Tighten the nuts and bolts to 90 Nm (65.0 ft. lbs.).
