Rear Lower

REMOVAL PROCEDURE





1. Raise and support the vehicle.
2. Using a floor jack (2), support the rear axle housing (1).





3. Remove the front mount bolt (2) from the lower control arm (1).





4. Remove the rear mount bolt (3) from the lower control arm (4).

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE





1. Install the lower control arm (4) to the chassis frame and to the axle housing (1). Do NOT tighten the bolt (3).
2. Remove the floor jack from the rear axle housing.

NOTICE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

3. Install the wheel,
- Tighten the wheel nuts to 95 Nm (69.0 ft. lbs.).

4. Lower the vehicle and, with the weight of the vehicle on the tires and wheels, tighten the front bolts and tighten the rear bolts and nuts of the lower rod.
- Tighten the nuts and the bolts to 90 Nm (65.0 ft. lbs.).
