Front Lower

REMOVAL PROCEDURE





1. Raise and support the vehicle.
2. Remove the tire and wheel assembly.
3. Remove the coil spring.
4. Remove the control arm bolts and nuts (1,3).
5. Remove the control arm (2).
6. Remove the control arm bushings. Refer to Lower Control Arm Bushings Replacement.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE





1. Install the control arm bushings. Refer to Lower Control Arm Bushings Replacement.
2. Install the control arm (2) to the chassis.
3. Install the control arm bolts and nuts (1,3). Do not tighten the bolts and nuts.
4. Install the coil spring.
5. Install the tire and wheel assembly.
6. Lower the vehicle. Ensure the weight of the vehicle is on the tires and wheels.

NOTICE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

7. Tighten the control arm bolts and nuts.
- Tighten the control arm front bolt and nut (1) to 85 Nm (61.5 ft. lbs.).
- Tighten the control arm rear bolt and nut (3) to 127 Nm (92.0 ft. lbs.).

8. Inspect the alignment. Refer to Measuring Wheel Alignment in Wheel Alignment.
