A Symptom Diagnosis

IMPORTANT: Review the system operation in order to familiarize yourself with the system functions.
^ Refer to Instrument Cluster Circuit Description. Description and Operation
^ Refer to Audible Warnings Circuit Description. Description and Operation

VISUAL/PHYSICAL INSPECTION
^ Inspect for aftermarket devices which could affect the operation of the instrument panel and gauges system or the audible warnings system. Refer to Checking Aftermarket Accessories At Diagnostic Aids Under Diagrams. Diagnostic Aids
^ Inspect the easily accessible or visible system components for obvious damage or conditions which could cause the symptom.
^ Inspect the interior/exterior lighting system and seat belt indicator for normal operation.
^ Check all engine fluids for proper fill levels.
^ Be sure that there are no other DTCs set which may affect the operation of the instrument panel and gauges system or the audible warnings system.

INTERMITTENT
