2. Engine Flywheel Removal
^ Tool(s) Required- J 35271 Flywheel Holder
1. Mark the flywheel-to-engine position.
2. Lock the flywheel in place with the J 35271.
3. Remove the 8 flywheel retaining bolts.
4. Remove the flywheel from the crankshaft.
5. Inspect the clutch pilot bushing. Replace if necessary. Refer to Pilot Bearing Replacement in Transmission and Drivetrain.
6. Clean the grease and dirt from the flywheel outer surfaces using a suitable solvent.
