Temperature Gauge: Service and Repair

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Remove the instrument cluster.
2. Remove the instrument cluster lens and bezel assembly (2) from the instrument cluster (1) by releasing the 6 black plastic tabs.




IMPORTANT: Do not remove the needle from the fuel or temperature gauges. There is no detent or flat spot on the shaft in order to indicate the correct placement.

3. Remove the following components from the instrument cluster (2):
3.1. The 6 screws (5)
3.2. The fuel/temperature gauge

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the fuel/temperature gauge to the instrument cluster (2). Secure the gauge with the 6 screws (5).




2. Install the instrument cluster lens and bezel assembly (2) to the instrument cluster (1). Ensure that the plastic retaining tabs are fully engaged.
3. Install the instrument cluster.
