Radio Frequency Preset Buttons

The radio has six preset buttons. The buttons are numbered 1 through 6. The buttons permit you to preset 18 stations (6 AM and 12 FM-6 on FM1 and 6 on FM2). In order to set a station preset button:
1. Select the desired band (AM or FM).
2. Tune the radio to the desired station.
3. Press and hold the desired preset button. Hold down the button for approximately three seconds. The sound will interrupt during this step.
4. When the sound resumes, release the button.
5. The button is now set to the desired station. The radio will now automatically tune to that pre-determined station when the button is pressed.

If power to the radio unit is interrupted, the preset buttons will lose their memory. If the buttons lose their memory, you must reset the preset buttons. Preset button 2 assumes the Dolby(R) function when you use the cassette player. Refer to Cassette Operation for details about Dolby(R).
