Rear Spring Bushing Replacement

REMOVAL PROCEDURE





1. Remove the leaf springs from the vehicle. Refer to Leaf Springs Replacement.
2. Remove the bushings from the springs assembly. Press the springs bushings from the springs in an arbor press.
3. Clean the springs eye of any rematching parts of the bushings.
4. Remove any burrs from the springs eye that could cause the new bushings to benched when the bushings is installed.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE





1. Apply rubber lubricant to the bushings (1). Apply lubricant to the springs eye (2).





2. Install the bushings to the springs assembly. Press the bushings in the springs using an arbor press.
3. Install the leaf springs to the vehicle. Refer to Leaf Springs Replacement
