Brace Replacement - Front Bumper (GMC)

Removal Procedure




1. Remove the nut and the bolt that retain the brace to the impact bar.
2. Remove the nut and the bolt that retain the brace to the frame.
3. Remove the brace from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure




1. Install the brace to the vehicle.
2. Install the nut and the bolt that retain the brace to the bumper frame.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

3. Install the nut and the bolt that retain the brace to the bumper impact bar.

Tighten the front bumper brace bolts to 40 N.m (30 lb ft).
