Intermittent Malfunction Indicator Lamp

In the case of an intermittent malfunction, the MIL (Malfunction Indicator Lamp) may illuminate, but the MIL will turn off after 3 trips. The corresponding diagnostic trouble code will be stored in the memory, however. When an unexpected diagnostic trouble code appears, check for an intermittent malfunction.
