Engine Oil Dip Stick - Dip Stick Tube: Service and Repair

Removal Procedure
1. Remove the engine cover from the vehicle.
2. Remove the air cleaner assembly and air intake duct.
3. Remove the surge tank from the vehicle.





4. Remove the engine oil level indicator tube at the left valve rocker arm cover.





5. Remove the oil engine level indicator tube O-ring from the engine oil tube.

Installation Procedure





1. Install the new O-ring seal to the oil level indicator tube.





2. Install the engine oil level indicator tube bracket to the valve rocker arm cover.
3. Install the surge tank in the vehicle.
4. Install the engine cover in the vehicle.
5. Install the air cleaner assembly and air intake duct.
