Drive Belt Tensioner: Service and Repair

Removal Procedure
1. Remove the drive belt from the drive pulleys.





2. Remove the mounting bolt for the tensioner.
3. Remove the tensioner from the accessory bracket.

Installation Procedure
1. Install the drive belt tensioner assembly.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.





2. Install the mounting bolt.
^ Tighten the tensioner assembly bolt to 50 Nm (37 ft. lbs.).
3. Install the drive belt on the drive pulleys.
