Remote Power Steering Fluid Reservoir Replacement

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Siphon the power steering fluid from the reservoir.





2. Disconnect the hose (3) from the steering pump (2).
3. Disconnect the hose from the reservoir (1).





4. Remove the nuts (4) retaining the reservoir (3) to the vehicle. Remove the reservoir.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE





NOTICE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

1. Install the reservoir (3) to the vehicle.
- Tighten the reservoir retaining nuts to 7 Nm (62 inch lbs.).





2. Connect the hose (3) to the reservoir (1).
3. Connect the hose to the steering pump (2).
4. Fill the reservoir with fluid. Refer to Checking and Adding Power Steering Fluid.
5. Bleed the power steering system. Refer to Bleeding Power Steering System.
