Knee Bolster Replacement - Left





REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Remove the instrument panel driver knee bolster panel.
2. Remove the screws that retain the relay center bracket to the instrument panel driver knee bolster inner and outer brackets.
3. Remove the relay center bracket from the instrument panel driver knee bolster inner and outer brackets.
4. Remove the nuts that retain the instrument panel driver knee bolster deflector assembly and the driver knee bolster inner and outer brackets to the instrument panel carrier.
5. Remove the instrument panel driver knee bolster deflector assembly and the driver knee bolster inner and outer brackets from the vehicle.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Position the instrument panel driver knee bolster deflector assembly and the driver knee bolster inner and outer brackets to the vehicle.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

2. Install the nuts that retain the instrument panel driver knee bolster deflector assembly and the driver knee bolster inner and outer brackets to the instrument panel carrier.

Tighten
Tighten the nuts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

3. Install the relay center bracket to the knee bolster brackets.
4. Install the screws that retain the relay center bracket to the instrument panel driver knee bolster inner and outer brackets.
5. Install the instrument panel driver knee bolster panel.
