Canister Vent Valve: Service and Repair

REMOVAL PROCEDURE (ENHANCED [1][2]EVAP)





CAUTION: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in Service Precautions.

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
Disconnect the Vent valve electrical connector.
2. Disconnect the Canister Vent hose.




3. Bend back the tang on the bracket.
4. Slide the Vent Valve off of the bracket.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE (ENHANCED [1][2]EVAP)




1. Slide the Vent Valve onto the bracket.
2. Connect the Canister Vent hose.




3. Install the electrical connector.
4. Connect the negative battery cable.
