Brake Booster Push Rod Gauging Procedure

- J 37839 Push Rod Height Gauge





1. Gauge the piston rod. Use the J 37839. Check the maximum and minimum rod length.
2. If the piston rod is not within limits, replace the booster assembly as a complete unit. Do not attempt to grind or shave the push rod to compensate for incorrect length.
