Parking Brake Lever: Service and Repair

REMOVAL PROCEDURE





1. Disconnect the parking brake release cable from the parking brake lever.
2. Disconnect the parking brake cable from the retainer on the brake lever.





3. Unsnap the parking brake release handle from the instrument panel retainer.
4. Remove the parking brake release handle and cable from the vehicle.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Install the parking brake release handle and the cable to the vehicle.





2. Snap the parking brake release handle to the instrument panel retainer.





3. Connect the parking brake cable to the retainer on the brake lever.
4. Connect the parking brake release cable to the parking brake lever.
