Front Door Panel: Service and Repair

REMOVAL PROCEDURE





TOOLS REQUIRED
J 9886-01 Door Handle Clip Remover

1. Use J 9886-01 Door Handle Clip Remover in order to remove the window regulator handle (2), if equipped.
2. Remove the window regulator handle bezel (4), if equipped.
3. Remove the front door garnish.
4. Remove the front door trim plate.
5. Remove the screws from the armrest.




6. Lift up on the front door trim panel in order to release the retaining tabs (2) on the front door trim panel.
7. Remove the front door trim panel from the vehicle.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the front door trim panel to the vehicle.
2. Align the retaining tabs (2) on the front door trim panel with the holes in the door.
3. Push down on the retaining tabs (2) in order to lock the retaining tabs (2) into place.




4. Install the screws to the armrest.
5. Install the front door front garnish.
6. Install the front door trim plate.
7. Install the window regulator handle bezel (4), if equipped.
8. Install the window regulator handle (2), if equipped.
