Enhanced Other Network (Eon)

The Enhanced Other Network (EON) information allows the radio to update the AF list of a station to which the radio is not currently tuned. The EON feature allows the receiver to search for traffic announcements during playback. The EON feature allows the radio to react to the traffic announcements on the stations referenced by the EON. The radio will tune to any traffic announcement, including those from another network, during regular radio broadcasts or playback when the traffic program activates.
