Fuel/Water Separator: Service and Repair

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Remove the fuel tank filler cap.
2. Remove the protective cover from fuel manager/filter.
3. Open the air bleed valve on top of the fuel manager/filter in order to release any pressure in the fuel supply system.
4. Disconnect the sensor wiring connector by pulling straight down.
5. Remove the water in fuel sensor by turning counter clock wise.





INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Install the new water in fuel sensor and seal.
2. Reconnect the sensor connector.
3. Install protective shield.
4. Bleed the air from the fuel manager/filter if necessary. Refer to Bleeding Air from Fuel Supply System. Service and Repair
5. Install fuel tank filler cap.
