CD Changer From Bracket Removal

REMOVAL PROCEDURE






1. Remove the radio.
2. Remove the screw retaining the HVAC harness to the radio mounting bracket.
3. Remove the screws (1) retaining the radio mounting bracket (2) to the instrument panel carrier (3).






4. Remove the radio mounting bracket from the vehicle.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE






1. Install the radio mounting bracket (2) to the vehicle.
2. Install the screw retaining the HVAC harness to the radio mounting bracket.






NOTICE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

3. Install the screws in order to retain the radio mounting bracket to the instrument panel carrier.

Tighten
Tighten the radio mounting bracket screws to 3 N.m (27 lb in).

4. Install the radio.
