Remove or Disconnect

1. Negative (-) battery cable.

2. Raise vehicle and suitably support.

^ Place drain pan under transmission oil pan.

^ Refer to "Changing Fluid and Filter".

3. Electrical connections from 3-2 control solenoid.

4. 3-2 control solenoid retainer clip (379) and solenoid (394).

Install or Connect

1. 3-2 control solenoid retainer clip (379) and solenoid (394).

2. Wiring harness connections to solenoid.

3. New filter with seal. Pan gasket, pan bolts and new fluid.

^ Refer to "Changing Fluid and Filter."

4. Lower vehicle.

5. Negative (-) battery cable.

Adjust

^ Fluid level, Refer to "Transmission Fluid Checking Procedure".

^ DEXRON� IIE Automatic Transmission Fluid. Inspect for leaks.
