Drive Motor Generator Battery Bracket Replacement (Surge Tank)

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the front compartment front sight shield. Refer to Front Compartment Front Sight Shield Replacement .




2. Remove the anti-tamper bracket hold down screw (1) next to the hood latch and below the upper tie bar as shown.

Installation Procedure

1. Install the anti-tamper bracket to the vehicle.





Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution Fastener Caution.

2. Install the anti-tamper bracket-to-CRFM bolt (1) and tighten until the bracket is secure. Verify the bracket is positioned to prevent cap removal and unqualified servicing of the HV battery cooling circuit.

3. Install the front compartment front sight shield. Refer to Front Compartment Front Sight Shield Replacement .
