Engine Mount Replacement




Engine Mount Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the air cleaner assembly. Refer to Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement (Service and Repair).




2. Support the engine with a hydraulic floor jack. Use a piece of wood between the jack and the oil pan.




3. Remove the engine mount to intermediate bracket bolts.
4. Remove the engine mount to midrail nuts (4).
5. Remove the engine mount from the engine compartment.

Installation Procedure




1. Place the engine mount onto the midrail and hand start the nuts.

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (Fastener Caution).

2. Tighten the engine mount to midrail nuts (4) to 100 Nm (74 lb ft).

Note: The engine mount to intermediate bracket bolts must be hand started. Do not pry the engine mount to align the holes.

3. Hand start the engine mount to intermediate bracket bolts.

Note: The engine mount bracket bolts must be torqued in a mandatory torque sequence as shown.

4. Tighten the engine mount to intermediate bracket bolts to 65 Nm (48 lb ft).
5. Remove the hydraulic floor jack.
6. Install the air cleaner assembly. Refer to Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement (Service and Repair).
