Headlamp Replacement (Four Door/Wagon)

Removal Procedure





Caution: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution Battery Disconnect Caution.

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the headlamp mounting bolts.




3. Remove the headlamp mounting nut.




4. Disconnect the turn signal electrical connector.




5. Disconnect the headlamp electrical connector.




6. Remove the headlamp assembly.
7. Turn left and remove the headlamp bulb cap, if necessary.




8. Dry off the headlamp bulb clip.
9. Disconnect the headlamp bulb connector.




10. Remove the headlamp bulb, if necessary.




11. Remove the park lamp.




12. Remove the headlamp high beam cap.




13. Remove the headlamp high beam bulb clip.
14. Disconnect the headlamp high beam bulb connector.
15. Remove the headlamp high beam bulb, if necessary.




16. Remove the turn signal lamp, if necessary.

Installation Procedure




1. Install the turn signal lamp, if removed.




2. Install the headlamp high beam bulb, if removed.
3. Connect the headlamp high beam bulb connector.
4. Install the headlamp high beam bulb clip.




5. Install the cap concealing the headlamp high beam bulb.




6. Install the park lamp.




7. Install the headlamp bulb, if removed.




8. Connect the headlamp bulb connector.
9. Install the headlamp bulb clip.




10. Turn to the right and install the headlamp bulb cap.
11. Install the headlamp assembly.




12. Connect the headlamp electrical connector.




13. Install the turn signal bulb, if removed.
14. Connect the turn signal connector.





Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice Fastener Notice.

15. Install the headlamp mounting nut.

Tighten the headlamp mounting nut to 4 Nm (35 lb in).




16. Install the headlamp mounting bolts.

Tighten the headlamp mounting bolts to 4 Nm (35 lb in).

17. Connect the negative battery cable.
