Rear Compartment Lid Latch Striker Replacement

Removal Procedure




1. Open the rear compartment.
2. Remove the rear compartment lower cover. Refer to Rear Compartment Trim Panel Replacement Rear Compartment Trim Panel Replacement.
3. Remove the bolts securing the lock striker.
4. Pull the lock striker out.
5. Disconnect the lock release cable from the lock striker.

Installation Procedure




1. Connect the lock release cable.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice Fastener Notice.

2. Install the lock striker with the bolts.

Tighten the rear compartment lock striker bolts to 8 Nm (71 lb in).

3. Install the rear compartment lower cover. Refer to Rear Compartment Trim Panel Replacement Rear Compartment Trim Panel Replacement.
