Rear Compartment Lid Latch Replacement

Removal Procedure





Caution: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution Battery Disconnect Caution.

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the rear compartment lock cover.
3. Disconnect the electrical connector.
4. Remove the screws and the rear compartment lock.
5. Disconnect the lock rod.

Installation Procedure




1. Connect the lock rod.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice Fastener Notice.

2. Install the rear compartment lock with the screws.

Tighten the rear compartment lock screws to 6 Nm (53 lb in).

3. Connect the electrical connector.
4. Install the rear compartment lock cover.
5. Connect the negative battery cable.
