Oil Pressure Sensor: Service and Repair

Engine Oil Pressure Sensor and/or Switch Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Disconnect the engine oil pressure sensor electrical connector.




3. Remove the engine oil pressure sensor from the engine oil cooler assembly.

Installation Procedure





Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice.

1. Install the engine oil pressure sensor to the engine oil cooler assembly.

Tighten the oil pressure sensor to 22 N.m (16 lb ft).

2. Connect the engine oil pressure sensor electrical connector.
3. Connect the negative battery cable.
