Power Steering Pump Disassemble

Tools Required
* J 42467 Power Steering Pump Pulley Remover
* J 25034-C Pulley Remover





Important: The power steering pump in this vehicle is not serviceable. Replace do not repair a fault power steering pump. Refer to Diagnostic Starting Point - Power Steering System Diagnostic Starting Point - Power Steering System.


1. Remove the power steering pump from the vehicle, if equipped with the electronic variable orifice (EVO) system. Refer to Power Steering Pump Replacement Power Steering Pump Replacement.
2. Using J 42467 (1), press the power steering pump from the pulley.

Important: Do not remove the power steering pump from the vehicle.


3. Remove the power steering pump pulley nut, if equipped without EVO.
