Lock Striker Replacement - Rear Compartment Lid

Removal Procedure




1. Open the rear compartment.
2. Remove the rear compartment lower cover. Refer to Compartment Trim Panel Replacement - Rear Compartment Trim Panel Replacement - Rear in Interior Trim.
3. Remove the bolts securing the lock striker.
4. Pull the lock striker out.
5. Disconnect the lock release cable from the lock striker.

Installation Procedure




1. Connect the lock release cable.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

2. Install the lock striker with the bolts.

Tighten the rear compartment lock striker bolts to 8 Nm (71 lb in).

3. Install the rear compartment lower cover. Refer to Compartment Trim Panel Replacement - Rear Compartment Trim Panel Replacement - Rear in Interior Trim.
