Supercharger Removal
1. Remove the evaporative emission (EVAP) tube and EVAP valve.
2. Remove the throttle body bolts.
3. Remove the throttle body and gasket.
4. Remove the boost solenoid bracket nut. Place the boost solenoid, bracket, and hose out of the way.
5. Remove the fuel rail feed line and injector harness bracket nut.
6. Remove the fuel rail feed line and injector harness bracket.
7. Remove the barometric pressure sensor and coolant return line bolt.
8. Remove the barometric pressure sensor and coolant return line.
9. Remove the fuel rail studs.
10. Remove the fuel rail and injector cups.
11. Remove the boost solenoid bracket nut.
12. Remove the boost solenoid, bracket, and hoses.
13. Remove the supercharger bolts.
14. Remove the supercharger.
15. Remove the supercharger gasket.
Repair Instructions
Intake Manifold Removal
1. Notice: Never attempt to remove the intake manifold from a hot engine, allow the engine to cool to ambient temperature. The intake manifold is made of a composite plastic and can be damaged if it is removed when the engine is hot.
Remove the manifold absolute pressure (MAP) sensor.
2. Remove the intake manifold retaining nuts and bolts.
3. Remove the intake manifold.
4. Remove the intake manifold gasket. Discard the gasket.
