Transmission Mount Bracket Replacement

Tools Required

J 28467-B (DW117) Universal Engine Support Fixture

Removal Procedure





1. Remove the battery. Refer to Battery and Battery Tray Replacement Removal and Replacement in Engine Electrical.

2. Install J 28467-B (1).





3. Remove the left transaxle mounting bolts.





4. Remove the cage bolts (1, 3) and nut (2) from the left transaxle mounting bracket.

5. Remove the mounting bracket.

Installation Procedure





1. Install the left transaxle mounting bracket.

Notice:
Refer to Fastener Notice Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

2. Install the cage bolts (1, 3) and nut (2) to the mounting bracket.

* Tighten the bolt (3) to 110 Nm (81 lb ft).

* Tighten the bolt (1) to 65 Nm (48 lb ft).

* Tighten the nut (2) to 65 Nm (48 lb ft).





3. Install the left transaxle mounting bolts.

Tighten the bolts to 48 Nm (35 lb ft).





4. Remove J 28467-B (1).

5. Install the battery. Refer to Battery and Battery Tray Replacement Removal and Replacement in Engine Electrical.
