Automatic Transmission Fluid Pan and Gasket Installation

Tools Required

DT 46475 (DW260-070) Auto Transaxle Oil Plug Remover/Installer





Notice:
Refer to Fastener Notice Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

1. Install the oil pan and the oil pan gasket and the bolts.

Tighten the bolts to 6 Nm (53 lb in).





2. Install the oil cooler inlet and outlet pipes. Refer to Transmission Fluid Cooler Hose/Pipe Replacement ZF 4HP 16 - Automatic Transmission.





3. Use DT 46475 (1) to install the transaxle fluid drain plug.

4. Install the engine cover. Refer to Engine Cover Replacement in Frame and Underbody.

5. Refill the transaxle fluid. Refer to Transmission Fluid Level Inspection ZF 4HP 16 - Automatic Transmission.

6. Connect the negative battery cable.
