FRONT HUB AND ROTORFig. 9 Exploded view of steering knuckle & hub assembly:
1. Raise and support front of vehicle.
2. Loosen wheel lug nuts, then remove wheel and tire assembly.
3. Remove caliper to knuckle attaching bolts, then position caliper aside.
4. Remove cotter pin, castle nut and washer, then remove rotor, Fig. 9.

5. Using tools J-34866 and J-2619-01, remove hub, Fig. 10.
6. Reverse procedure to install, noting the following:
a. Replace all bearings, seals and self locking nuts.
b. Torque caliper to knuckle attaching bolts to 41 ft. lbs.
c. Torque axle to hub castle nut to 137 ft. lbs.
d. Torque wheel lug nuts to 65 ft. lbs.
