Power Steering Pump: Service and Repair

1. Position suitable container below pump.
2. Remove pressure hose clamp.
3. Disconnect pressure and return hoses from pump.
4. Remove adjusting bolt, pivot bolt and drive belt.
5. Remove pump and pump bracket.
6. Remove pulley from pump.
7. Reverse procedure to install, noting the following:
a. Torque pressure hose fitting to 20 ft. lbs.
b. Using a suitable belt tension gauge, adjust drive belt to 70 to 110 in. lbs.
