Disassembly

1. Remove throttle valve retainer and check ball.
2. Remove lock-up relay valve as follows:

a. Remove plug retainer using suitable tool, then the plug.
b. Remove lock-up relay valve, control valve and spring.
c. Remove sleeve retainer using suitable tool, then the sleeve.

3. Remove cut back valve retainer using suitable tool, then the valve.
4. Remove throttle modulator valve retainer using suitable tool, then the plug, valve and spring.
5. Remove accumulator control valve retainer using suitable tool, then the plug spring and valve.
6. Remove second coast modulator valve retainer, then the spring and valve.
7. Loosen retaining bolt, then remove throttle cam, spring and collar.
8. Remove kickdown valve retaining pin using suitable tool, then the valve with sleeve and spring.
9. Remove throttle valve.
10. Remove spring and adjusting rings, noting number of adjusting rings installed.
