To assemble carburetor, reverse disassembly procedure noting the following:
1. Use new gaskets, seals. O-rings and diaphragms.
2. Use new needle and seat assembly.
3. Prior to installing power valve assembly, adjust float level and drop as follows:
a. Install valve seat and gasket in air horn, then the needle valve, spring and plunger. Do not install needle clip at this time. Air horn gasket should not be in place at this time.
b. Install float and pivot pin.
c. Allow float to hang down by its own weight and measure float level, Fig. 2.
d. Compare measurement to Adjustment Specifications. If float level is incorrect, adjust by bending float lip, Fig. 3.
e. Lift float assembly and measure float drop, Fig. 4.
f. Compare measurement to Adjustment Specifications. If float drop is incorrect, adjust by bending float lip, Fig. 5.
g. After float level and drop adjustments are complete, remove float, plunger, spring and needle valve as they will be installed after the power piston assembly. Install needle clip on needle valve. Continue to assemble carburetor.
