Front Wheel Alignment
CASTER & CAMBER
Camber is adjusted by first loosening the upper and lower strut to knuckle nuts and bolts, then rotating cam to obtain correct specification.
Caster cannot be adjusted. Should caster be found out of specification, locate cause first. If components are damaged, bent, loose, dented or worn, they should be replaced. To prevent an incorrect reading of camber or caster, jounce the bumper three times before checking.
After adjustment, tighten nuts to specification.
TOE-IN
Toe-in is adjusted by changing tie-rod length. Loosen boot clamps and slide from the boot assembly. Loosen right and left tie-rod end locknuts, then turn right and left tie-rods to align toe-in to specification. Right and left tie-rods must be equal in length.
After adjustment, install boot clamps, tighten nuts to specification and ensure rack boots are not twisted.
Torque strut-to-knuckle nut to 105 ft. lbs., and tie-rod locking nut to 35 ft. lbs.
