Brake Fluid Pressure Sensor Replacement
Removal Procedure
1. Place the ignition switch into OFF position.
2. Remove the RH front compartment sight shield. Refer to Front Compartment Sight Shields Replacement (Front Compartment Sight Shields Replacement) .
3. Thoroughly clean the area around the brake pressure modulator (BPMV) of all dirt and debris.
4. Disconnect the brake fluid pressure sensor electrical connector.
5. Remove the brake fluid pressure sensor (1).
Installation Procedure
Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice (Fastener Notice) .
1. Install the brake fluid pressure sensor (1).
Tighten the brake fluid pressure sensor to 17 N.m (13 lb ft).
2. Connect the brake fluid pressure sensor electrical connector.
3. Install the RH front compartment sight shield. Refer to Front Compartment Sight Shields Replacement (Front Compartment Sight Shields Replacement) .
4. Perform the Antilock Brake System Automated Bleed Procedure (Service and Repair) .
5. Perform the Diagnostic System Check - Vehicle (Initial Inspection and Diagnostic Overview) .
