Wiper Motor Replacement




REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Remove the windshield wiper transmission.
2. Remove the windshield wiper transmission upper link (1) from the windshield wiper motor crank arm (6).
3. Unclip the wiper motor harness connector from the wiper transmission assembly.
4. Remove the windshield wiper transmission nut (7) from the motor (4).
5. Remove the wiper motor crank arm (6) from the wiper motor (4).
6. Remove the wiper motor bracket bolts (5) from the wiper motor (4).
7. Remove the wiper motor (4) from the wiper transmission assembly (2).

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Install the wiper motor (4) to the wiper transmission assembly (2).
2. Install the wiper motor bracket bolts (5) to the wiper motor (4).

Tighten
Tighten the wiper motor bolts until fully seated but not stripped.

3. Install the wiper motor crank arm (6) to the wiper motor (4).
4. Install the wiper motor crank arm nut (7) to the wiper motor (4).

Tighten
Tighten the wiper motor crank arm nut until fully seated and not stripped.

5. Clip the wiper motor harness connector to the wiper transmission assembly.
6. Install the wiper transmission upper link (1) to the wiper motor crank arm (6).
7. Install the windshield wiper transmission.
