Washer Solvent Container Replacement

Washer Solvent Container Replacement




REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Raise the hood.
2. Remove the air snorkel screw and reposition the snorkel for clearance of container removal.
3. Remove the solvent container filler neck.
4. Remove the washer pump hose from the washer pump.
5. Disconnect the washer pump wiring electrical connector.
6. Disconnect the level sensor wiring electrical connector.
7. Remove the two solvent container mount screws.
8. Remove the solvent container.
9. If replacing the solvent container transfer the following components:
^ Remove the washer pump.
^ Remove the solvent container level Sensor.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. If the solvent container was replaced, install the following components:
^ Install the washer pump.
^ Install the solvent container level sensor.
2. Install the solvent container.
3. Install the two solvent container screws.

Tighten
Tighten the solvent container screws until fully seated but not stripped.

4. Connect the level sensor wiring electrical connector.
5. Connect the washer pump wiring electrical connector.
6. Install the washer pump hose to the washer pump.
7. Install the solvent container filler neck.
8. Reposition the air snorkel to mount position and install the air snorkel screw.
9. Close the hood.
