Weatherstrip Replacement - Front Door Window

REMOVAL PROCEDURE

CAUTION:
^ Refer to Door Window Express Down in Service Precautions.
^ Refer to SIR Handling Caution in Service Precautions.

1. Disable the SIR system, if equipped with inflatable restraint side impact system. Refer to Disabling the SIR System in Restraint Systems.
2. Front door trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Side Front Door.
3. Remove the water deflector.
4. Remove the inner belt sealing strip.




5. Remove the window run channel weatherstrip:
5.1. Start at the upper rear corner of the door frame.
5.2. Pull Out the strip from the upper and both lower channels.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the window run channel weatherstrip:
1.1. Start at the upper rear corner of the door frame.
1.2. Insert the strip into the upper and both lower channels.
2. Install the inner belt sealing strip.
3. Install the water deflector.
4. Install the front door trim panel.
5. Enable the SIR system, if equipped with the SIR impact system. Refer to Enabling the SIR System in Restraint Systems.
