83. Adapter Case Control Valve Disassemble

1. Remove the Torque Converter Clutch solenoid bolt (402).
2. Remove the TCC solenoid (416).





3. Remove the Pressure Control Solenoid filter plug retainer (419).
4. Remove the PCS filter plug (414).
5. Remove the PCS filter plug seal (413) from the filter plug (414).
6. Remove the PCS filter (415).





7. Remove the feed limit valve spring retainer (418).
8. Remove the feed limit valve spring (410).
9. Remove the feed limit valve (412) and spring seat (411).
10. Inspect the feed limit valve for:
- porosity
- scoring
- nicks
- scratches





11. Remove the 3-4 accumulator valve bore plug (405).
12. Remove the 3-4 accumulator valve (407).
13. Remove the 3-4 accumulator control valve (409).
14. Inspect the 3-4 accumulator valve and control valve for:
- porosity
- scoring
- nicks
- scratches





15. Remove the Pressure Control Solenoid bolt (402).
16. Remove the PCS retainer (403).
17. Remove the PCS (404).





18. Clean the control valve body (401) and components.
19. Dry using compressed air only.
20. Inspect the adapter case control valve body for:
- porosity
- cracks
- interconnected fluid passages
- damage to the machined surfaces.
