62. Transmission Oil Pump Assemble

1. Lubricate the piston with DEXRON(R)III automatic transmission fluid.
2. Install the throttle signal accumulator piston (214).
3. Install the throttle signal accumulator piston spring (215).
4. Install the throttle signal accumulator piston spring seat (216).
5. Install the throttle signal accumulator piston retainer ring (217).





6. Lubricate the valves with DEXRON(R)III automatic transmission fluid.
7. Install the pressure regulator valve (208).

Important: Install the pressure regulator valve spring seat on the valve with the flat side against the pressure regulator valve shoulder.

8. Install the pressure regulator valve spring (207) and spring seats (206).
9. Install the oil pump boost valve (205) into the oil pump boost valve sleeve (204). Check the boost valve for free movement.
10. Install the oil pump boost valve sleeve (204).
11. Install the oil pump boost valve sleeve retainer pin (203).





12. Lubricate the valves with DEXRON(R)III automatic transmission fluid.
13. Install the converter clutch control valve (210).
14. Install the converter clutch control valve spring (211).
15. Install the converter clutch control valve bore plug (212).
16. Install the converter clutch control valve bore plug retainer pin (213).





17. Install the transmission oil pump drive gear (201) and driven gear (202) with the identification marks facing up. The beveled edge of the drive gear drive flange faces toward the oil pump body (209).





18. Install the oil pump wear plate (9).
