52. Overdrive Disassemble

1. Remove the fourth clutch retainer (501).
2. Remove the fourth clutch plates (502, 503).





3. Remove the overdrive carrier retainer ring (526).
4. Remove the overdrive carrier assembly (525).
5. Remove the overdrive sun gear (519).
6. Remove the overrun clutch housing assembly (510).
7. Inspect the overdrive sun gear (519) and the carrier (525) for wear and damage.





8. Remove the turbine shaft oil seals (508 & 535).
9. Inspect the turbine shaft (506) for wear and damage.
