42. Center Support Assembly Removal

1. Remove the center support bolts (31).
2. Remove the center support assembly (30).
3. Remove the center support spacer plate (29) and gaskets (28).
4. Remove the oil restrictor (27).





5. Inspect the adapter case for ring groove damage and clutch plate lug wear or damage.
6. Check all bolt holes for thread damage. Use a Heli-coil@ to repair.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

7. Inspect the cooler line fittings for proper torque.
- Tighten to 38 Nm (28 ft. lbs.).
8. Inspect the case to center support face and the pan gasket sealing face for damage.
9. Inspect the case for interconnected fluid passages.
