41. Adapter Case Disassemble

- J 23327 Clutch Spring Compressor
- J 23327-90 Fourth Clutch Spring Compressor Adapter





1. Compress the fourth clutch retainer and spring assembly (531) using J 23327 and J 23327-90.
2. Remove the fourth clutch spring retaining ring (530).
3. Remove the tools.





4. Remove the fourth clutch retainer and spring assembly (531).
5. Remove the fourth clutch piston (532).
6. Remove the fourth clutch piston inner seal (533) and outer seal (534).





7. Remove the selective thrust washer (15) from the center support.





8. Compress the reverse clutch piston return springs (611) using J 23327.
9. Remove the reverse clutch piston return spring seat retainer ring (613). Do not let the spring seat catch in the ring groove.
10. Remove the tools.





11. Remove the spring seat (612).
12. Remove the piston return springs (611).
13. Remove the reverse clutch piston (610).
14. Remove the reverse clutch piston inner (608) and outer (609) seals.
