Automatic Level Control Air Compressor Head Replacement

Removal Procedure
1. Remove the air dryer. Refer to Automatic Level Control Air Dryer Replacement
2. Remove the three bolts attaching the compressor head to the cylinder casting.





3. Remove the compressor head from the cylinder casting.
4. Discard the old compressor head gasket.
5. Clean the head gasket sealing surface.

Installation Procedure





1. Install the compressor head gasket.
2. Install the compressor head to the cylinder casting.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

3. Install the three bolts attaching the compressor head to the cylinder casting.
^ Tighten the compressor head bolts to 4 Nm(35 inch lbs.).
4. Install the air dryer. Refer to Automatic Level Control Air Dryer Replacement
